Ultrasonic bone conduction

We were asked to help someone hear for the first time. The sonic induction unit transfers sound vibrations into the base of the skull below and behind the ear to deliver a sensation of high and low frequencies like the audible sound range. We produced patterns and the RTV tooling of the components. A production run of 200 test units was delivered, using both rigid and soft durometer urethane parts, cast in color.
